Rice Long Grain Enriched Parboiled (Rice, Iron, Niacin Vitamin B3, Thiamine Mononitrate Vitamin B1, Folic Acid Vitamin B9), Sugar, Salt, Coconut, Onions, Pineapple, Peppers Bell Red, Peppers Bell Green, Spices (Including [Peppers Red, Mustard]), Garlic, Onions Green, Monosodium Glutamate (Flavors Enhancer), Citric Acid, Disodium Inosinate, Disodium Guanylate (Flavors Enhancer), Turmeric, Yeast Extract, Corn Gluten Hydrolyzed, Soy Protein, Flavors Natural, Sulfiting Agents
Directions
Stove Top Directions: 1. Brown 1 pound boneless skinless chicken, cut into thin strips. 2. Mix 2-1/2 cups water, 2 tablespoons butter or margarine (optional), Zatarain's Caribbean Rice Mix and cooked chicken in 3-quart saucepan. 3. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 25 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed and rice is tender. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
Microwave Directions: Microwave ovens vary; cooking times may need to be adjusted. Cooking times are based on an 1100 watt microwave oven. 1. Mix 2-1/2 cups hot water, 2 tablespoons butter or margarine (optional), 1 pound cooked boneless skinless chicken, cut into thin strips, and Zatarain's Caribbean Rice Mix in 2-1/2 quart microwavable bowl until well blended. Cover. 2. Microwave on high 25 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed and rice is tender, stirring occasionally. 3. Let stand in microwave 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. Caution: Dish and contents will be very hot. Use pot holders when removing from microwave.
