Whole Grain Parboiled Brown Rice (Organic), Whole Grain Quinoa (Organic), Tomato Powder (Organic), Sea Salt, Garlic Powder (Organic), Spices (Organic), Dried Onion (Organic), Tamari Powder (Organic), (Soybeans (Organic), Rice Flour (Organic), Salt), Cane Sugar (Organic), Soybean Oil (Organic), Turmeric (Organic) (Color).
Directions
Stovetop Directions: 1. Add 1 tbsp. Olive oil into a medium sauce pan, and saute the grains over Medium-High heat. Stir frequently until the grains are golden brown (about 2 to 3 minutes). 2. Add 2 cups of water and seasoning. Stir and bring to a boil. 3. Reduce the heat to Medium-Low, cover and simmer for 18 to 22 minutes or until water is absorbed. 4. Remove from heat, stir and re-cover. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving. Microwave Directions: 1. Combine grains, seasoning, 2 cups of hot water, and 1 tbsp of olive oil (optional) into a 2-qt microwave-safe glass bowl. Stir well. 2. Cover tightly with microwave-safe lid or plastic wrap and microwave on High for 5 minutes. 3. Reduce to Medium (50%) for 16-20 (microwave ovens vary). Cooking times are approximate. Adjust cooking time as needed). Minutes. Stir occasionally. Remove from microwave. Let stand covered for 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Chef's Tip: Saute 1 cup of sliced carrots and add to prepared rice. Recycle me.
