Safety, Use and Care: Read and save these instructions for best results with your new Pyrex glassware. These instructions apply to Pyrex products made with heat-strengthened soda lime glass, including baking dishes, mixing bowls, prep bowls, pie plates, measuring ups and storage containers. Use: Your glassware is designed for baking, serving and storing food. Can be used in: Glassware: Standard oven (preheated); Glass-Silicone lid: Standard oven (preheated). Glassware: Standard convection oven (preheated); Glass-Silicone lid: Standard convection oven (preheated). Glassware: Microwave; Decorated storage: Microwave; Plastic lid: see notes; Glass-Silicone lid: see notes. Notes: Always preheat oven and convection oven before inserting glassware for cooking, to avoid rapid temperature change during initial start. Handle hot glassware and lids with a potholder or dry cloth. Use care with tomato and acidic sauces since they can stain plastic lids. When cooking foods that may release liquid, add a small amount of liquid to cover the bottom of the glassware before cooking, to avoid cool liquid hitting hot glass. Allow hot glassware to cool on a cooling rack, dry potholder, dry wood cutting board or dry cloth before washing or storing in a fridge or freezer. To avoid warping, remove or vent lids at least 1/4 inch before microwaving. Care: Cleaning carefully will help keep your glassware in good condition. Notes: Before first use, wash glassware and lids thoroughly. Allow items to cool before placing in sink or water. When using a dishwasher, load items to avoid bumping against other items. Dry wood and steel lids immediately after washing. If wood lids appear dried out, apply a coat or two of food safe mineral oil; vegetable oils are not recommended as they can become rancid. Portable accessories. Read these instructions for best results with your portable accessories. Use: Portable accessories can help keep foods warm or cool when used properly. To use for hot foods: 1. Heat food in the glassware dish to the correct temperature. 2. Shortly before the dish is done, heat the hot/cold pack in your microwave oven, following the instructions printed on the pack. 3. Carefully remove the hot/cold pack from the microwave, using potholders. 4. Slide the hot pack into the bottom pocket of the carrying case, using potholders. 5. When done heating, remove the dish from the oven, using potholders. 6. As soon as it's safe to do so, carefully place the plastic lid on the hot dish. 7. Immediately place the dish with lid in the carrying case. (see notes below). 8. If you have a second hot pack, slide it into the top pocket of the carrying case, using potholders 9. Use the zipper to close the bag. To use for cold foods: 1. Freeze the hot/cold pack overnight (more than 8 hours) in your freezer. If the hot/cold pack becomes too stiff and does not fit inside the pocket of the carrier, let it set for up to two minutes until it softens so that it is flexible. 2. Refrigerate or freeze cold foods in the glassware dish. Cold food must be thoroughly chilled to 4.4 degrees C (40 degrees F) or colder before placing in the carrying case. Allow adequate time to chill property. 3. Slide the cold pack into the bottom pocket of the carrying case. 4. Put the plastic lid on the cold dish. Immediately place the dish with lid in the carrying case. (see notes below). 6. If you have a second cold pack, slide it into the top pocket of the carrying case. 7. Use the zipper to close the bag. To transport any foods: Close carrying case zipper and Velcro handle closure before transporting. Hold the carrying case with dish inside as level as possible, to avoid leaks. Be sure to use the plastic lid whenever you transport food. Plastic lids are not airtight, and overfilled dishes or liquid from foods may leak. Condensation may develop on the underside of the plastic lid. Remove lid carefully. Notes for Double-Decker carriers: 1. First, pack the bottom compartment and close the bottom zipper Then pack the top compartment and close the zipper. Finally, put the carrying straps together, then wrap and secure with the hook-and-loop closure handle. 2. To open after transporting, reverse the process for packing. 3. Some heat may transfer between the two compartments if you pack hot and cold foods together. Use care when packing cold foods that may spoil if they get too heated. Care: Hot/cold pack: clean by hand with a sponge or cloth using soap and hot water. Carrying case: hand wash only, wipe clean with damp sponge or cloth, then hang to dry. To prevent mildew, dry completely. In Case Of Problems: Please do not return this item to the store. Warnings

Safety Warning: All glassware can break, but you can help prevent damage by following these guidelines. Glassware: 1. When used near extreme heat, glassware can break. Conventional do not use on or near: Stovetop; broiler; BBQ grill; Microwave browning element; Stovetop pressure cooker. Countertop do not use on or near: Toaster (see note); Countertop oven (see note); Air fryer; Slow cooker/crockpot; Rice cooker; Grilling appliance. Other do not use on or near: Direct heating source; Open flames; Camping stove. 2. When heated or cooled too rapidly, glassware can break. While cooking, do not: Transfer directly from freezer to hot oven. Add liquid to hot glassware. Use to microwave popcorn. Microwave while empty. Microwave a tiny amount of food. Overheat oil or butter in microwave. Use for foods with browning wrappers. After cooking, do not: Place hot glassware in the sink. Place hot glassware on a metal stove grate. Place hot glassware on a wet or cold surface. Handle hot glassware with a wet or cold cloth. Notes: The safest place for hot glassware to cool is on a cooling rack, dry potholder, dry cutting board or dry cloth. 3. If handled or cleaned improperly, glassware can crack or break. When handling, do not: Bump against hard objects. Attempt to repair when cracked. Stack too tightly. Stack when warm or wet from dishwasher. When cleaning, do not: Use abrasive cleanser or abrasive scouring pads. Clean with hard objects, such as metal. Notes: If glassware breaks, use care when picking up sharp pieces to avoid cuts. If glassware is damaged or breaks, do not use and dispose of all pieces carefully. If you are filing a warranty claim, keep all pieces in safe storage until you are informed it's safe to dispose of them. Lids: For glass lids, read Warnings above for Glassware. If lid includes a vent feature, be sure to open it before microwaving food. If lid includes a removable seal, be sure it is securely in place to prevent leaks during transport and storage. Do not soak wood or steel lids in water. Do not store wood lids in direct sunlight as it can damage the wood. Warning: If handled or cleaned improperly, you can damage portable accessories. During use, do not: Heat the Hot/Cold Pack in the oven or hot/boiling water. Heat the Insulated Carrier in any cooking appliance. Drop or bump the Insulated Carrier when filled, or you could break the glassware inside. Overheat the Hot/Cold Pack. When cleaning, do not: Clean the Insulated Carrier or Hot/Cold Pack in a washing machine, dishwasher or dryer. Use bleach to clean the Insulated Carrier. Iron the Insulated Carrier to remove wrinkles. Notes: If the Hot/Cold Pack is damaged or leaking, dispose of it carefully. Keep Hot/Cold Pack away from children and pets. Do not use the Hot/Cold Pack as a therapeutic pack for your body.
