After the winning run from a nearby baseball game shattered their front window in 1923, my grandparents decided to name their Chicago tavern Home Run Inn. Together, in 1947, my father, Nick Perrino, and my grandmother, Mary Grittani created our legendary pizza recipe as it is known today. By the late 1970's, we had become one of the first iconic pizzerias in Chicago. In hopes of better serving our loyal customers, we began preparing frozen pizzas in our own unique way. All our ingredients are prepared from scratch daily and then par-baked giving you the highest quality pizza with the freshest flavor possible. Today, Home Run Inn continues to be a family owned and operated business dedicated to serving customers the original pizza recipe that my father and grandmother created in 1947. Crust (wheat Flour, Water, Corn Oil, Yeast, Salt), Whole Milk Mozzarella+ (pasteurized Milk, Cheese Cultures, Salt, Enzymes), Sauce (tomatoes, Salt, Water, Oregano, Black Pepper), Sausage (pork, Salt, Spices, Flavorings), All Natural* Uncured Pepperoni (no Nitrites Or Nitrates Added Except For Naturally Occurring In Celery Juice And Cherry Powder, Pork, Salt Contains 2% Or Less Of Turbinado Sugar, Spices, Flavorings, Celery Juice Powder, Cherry Powder, Lactic Acid Starter Culture, Oleoresin Of Paprika, Lime Juice Concentrate)

Keep frozen. Baking Instructions: Remove pizza from all packaging and shrink wrap. Conventional Oven: Set oven rack to middle position. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Place pizza directly on middle rack. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. For Softer Crust: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and place pizza on a baking sheet for 8-10 minutes. Microwave Oven: 1. Pull tab up from bottom edge, peel back along perforations. Remove pizza from box and remove plastic wrap. 2. Do not tear off top of box. Bend and fold top underneath and turn box upside down to create an elevated platform. 3. Center pizza on top of gray microwave sheet facing up. Place box in middle of microwave oven with unwrapped pizza directly centered on gray microwave sheet. Microwave pizza for 4:00-4:30 minutes or until cheese is melted in the center (Ovens and microwave wattages may vary. Adjust time and temperature as necessary). Let stand for 30 seconds. Carefully remove from microwave, pizza and platform will be very hot. Pizza is done when cheese is melted and edges are golden brown.
