To Clean: Separate cushion from frame. Wash both cushion and frame in warm water with mild liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Air dry. Toilet Training Tips: 1. Encourage your child to sit on the Soft & Secure Trainer Seat at a regular time once a day. Suggest sitting for several minutes with diaper and clothes on. Once your child seems accustomed to this routine (after a week or so) ask if he wants to sit on the trainer with a bare bottom. 2. If nothing happens the first few times, don't show any disappointment. Just put a diaper back on, and let your child tell you when he is ready to try again. 3. Be patient. Give your child the time he needs to learn. It's important to let your child set the pace for training. Night Training: Until he is staying dry for a long period during the day, it's a good idea to keep your child in diapers at nap time and night time. Full Independence: Eventually, your child will want to start using the family toilet without the Soft & Secure Trainer Seat!
