Ingredients
Paas Food Color Tablets Contain: Sodium Bicarbonate, Maltodextrin, Yellow 5, Blue 2, Cellulose Gum, Red 40, Yellow 6, Blue 1, Red 3, Magnesium Stearate, Zinc Stearate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Silicon Dioxide.
Directions
Tip: Dab tablet on damp paper towel to determine color. Tie Dye Instructions: 1. Start with clean, cool, hard-boiled eggs. 2. Place 1 tablet into a Paas Color Cup (Paas Color Cups sold separately) or a 1 cup container. Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar to container. Once the tablet has dissolved, gently stir mixture. 3. Proceed with tie dye method. Tie Dye Method (Parental Supervision Required): 1. Cut slit in side of tie dye press. Using a pencil, poke a hole through the dimples in both halves of the tie dye press. 2. Dampen the fabric square with water and wrap around a dry white egg. Place in tie dye press. Fold the two sides of the tie dye press together and snap to lock. 3. Using the plastic dropper, squeeze the end and place into the dye color of your choice. 4. Fill the plastic dropper up with dye. 5. Place the plastic dropper directly into the holes to apply color to the fabric. 6. Squeeze the remaining dye back into the corresponding container so that there is no dye left in the plastic dropper. Tip: Squeeze and fill up the plastic dropper with water in between applications so the dye colors do not mix together. Tip: Rinse the fabric with water between eggs to prevent color transfer. 7. Proceed using steps 3-6 with a different color dye to create a tie dye effect! 8. When finished, remove egg from the tie dye press and place in drying tray. To form egg stands, carefully cut along the dotted lines. Insert slot A into slot B to complete egg stand.
