Original gourmet. A raw whole superfood. Non GMO Project verified. nongmoproject.org. Visit us at longhurstfarms.com. Longhurst Farms created sprouted almonds in 2004. Our products were inspired by a search for a more comprehensive diet where long-term health was a vital concern to family members and friends. Sheridan, Wyoming, was chosen as the location for our small family business factory because it is a clean, open air environment without any factories or polluting smokestacks. Nestled in the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains near the famous site of Custer's Last Stand, our family-owned facility is where we sprout our almonds using our secret family sprouting recipe. Each batch is hand crafted to assure highest quality, taste and texture - the hallmarks of our finished products. Sprouting has a purpose. Sprouting is one of the most fascinating natural phenomena. From this tiny appendage, a tree is born. It's not surprising that there is exceptional nutritional value locked inside the kernel. Sprouting enlivens the enzymes that are dormant within. These enzymes activate when they come in contact with water, and the nuts are awakened. The potential growth for each nut is to become a tree, and when we eat sprouted almonds, our bodies receive this concentrated vital energy and nutrition. Even more important, sprouting neutralizes enzyme inhibitors present in the nut, allowing quicker and more complete digestion and assimilation of nutrients. Custom, state-of-the-art, engineered equipment throughout our plant assures that the nutrients in the nuts are preserved during processing. Nuts are dehydrated at low temperatures rather than high-temperature roasting. Roasting destroys valuable nutrients. Visit us at: longhurstfarms.com. Made in a peanut free facility. Proudly made in the USA by a family-owned business.
