There's nothing like the smell and sizzle of sausage being sautéed. Seasoned for a great, hearty flavor, R.B. Rice® Medium Pork Sausage Roll is the perfect addition to any home-cooked meal. At 10 grams of protein per serving, our uncooked roll helps you get through the day and are ready-to-eat in only 14 to 16 minutes. Simply cook to an internal temperature of 160°F and serve diced in a cheese and spinach omelet for a protein-packed breakfast. Includes one sausage roll.

Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.
Preparation Directions: Due to differences in cooking equipment, cook times may require adjustment. Slice sausage roll into 1/2-inch patties at indicated marks. (For easier slicing place sausage in freezer for 10-15 minutes, before slicing). Place patties in a cold skillet. Cook over medium heat for 14-16 minutes turning sausage frequently for even browning or until center of sausage patty reaches 160 degrees F and is no longer pink. For food safety and quality purposes, this product must be cooked to a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees F prior to eating.
Previously handled frozen for your protection. Refreeze or keep refrigerated.
