Directions
For food safety and quality, follow the directions and cook thoroughly to at least 160 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to use. Refrigerate leftovers.
Important: Because stove-tops and microwaves vary, adjusting heat settings and cook times may be required.
1. Heat 1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in 10-inch nonstick* skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully add chicken; stir-fry 3 to 4 minutes until lightly browned.
2. Reduce heat to medium; remove chicken from skillet. Carefully add Vegetables, Sauce and 1/4 cup water to skillet; heat to boiling. Cover; cook 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
3. Add chicken to skillet; stir-fry 4 to 6 minutes longer until mixture is thoroughly cooked.**
4. Meanwhile, place Rice pouch, printed side up, on microwavable plate. Do not cut slit in Rice pouch. Microwave on high 2 to 3 1/2 minutes. Let stand 1 minute.
Caution: Hot!
Note: Popping and sizzling sounds may occur when microwaving.
5. Serve immediately.
Tips:
Using a skillet without a nonstick finish is not recommended. **For thinner sauce, stir in more water, 1 tablespoon at a time, during or after cooking.
High altitude: Increase amount of water and cook times as needed; adjust heat settings as needed.
Keep frozen.
Cook thoroughly.
Delicious additions:
Add 1/2 cup of chopped red bell pepper to the chicken and vegetables.
Serve with egg rolls or pot stickers from your grocer's freezer.
Add an easy salad! Combine mixed greens and carrots, toss with a ginger dressing and top with wonton strips.
