Directions
This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.

Simmering: Remove brisket from package. Cover brisket with water, bring to boil, cover and simmer 2-1/2 to 3 hours or until fork tender (minimal internal temperature of 160F). Slice across the grain.
Roasting: Remove brisket from package. Wrap in foil. Place on rack in shallow pan fat side up. Set temperature at 350F and roast 1 hour per pound or until fork tender (minimal internal temperature of 160F). Let stand 15 minutes before slicing. Slice across the grain. We recommend that for best flavor any juices in the package be used in cooking of the product. They are a part of the product that became separated from the meat during transportation and storage and are included in the net weight.
