italian style panko crusted chicken - ingredients: 1/2 cup flour fc, 1/2 tsp garlic powder fc, 1/2 tsp salt fc, 1/4 tsp pepper fc, 4 (about 1-1/2 lb) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 1 egg fc, 2 tbsp water, 1 cup italian style panko crumbs fc, 3 tbsp oil fc. Preparation instructions: preheat oven to 400°f. Line a baking sheet with foil and coat with non-stick cooking spray. Combine flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a shallow dish. Dip chicken in flour to coat both sides, shaking off excess. Beat egg and water in a medium bowl. Place panko crumbs in a shallow dish. Dip floured chicken in egg, then in panko crumbs. Heat oil in large skillet; Add chicken and brown on both sides. Transfer chicken to prepared baking sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165° f. Makes 4 servings.
