Handling Instructions: Recommended preparation: Gehl's cheese sauces are commercially sterile and as packaged are ready to serve. For best flavor we suggest you serve it warm (above 140 degrees F [60 degrees C]). If product has been opened and refrigerated it should be heated to a minimum temperature of 165 degrees F (73.8 degrees C) according ot local food codes. Reheating more than once is not recommended. Product is compatible with most moist heating methods - steam table, double boiler, cheese pump. Sauce can be microwaved for immediate use. Once heated; hold covered over moist heat, stirring frequently. Do not hold cheese sauce above 165 degrees F (73.8 degrees C) for more than six hours. Store unused portion in a tightly sealed plastic container and promptly refrigerate. Sauce may be refrigerated for up to 5 days.
Menu Suggestions: Use as an ingredient in pasta, egg and Mexican dishes, or as a topping on french fries, tater tots, pretzels or tortilla chips! Accent Gehl's cheese sauce with fresh add-ins like chives, onions, peppers and herbs.
