Preparation Instructions: You Will Need: 1 pound ground beef (ground turkey can be used instead of beef). 2-3/4 cups water. 1/2 cup milk. Skillet Directions: 1. Brown 1 pound lean ground beef (ground turkey can be used instead of beef) in 10-inch skillet; drain. 2. Stir in 2 3/4 cups hot water, 1/2 cup of milk, sauce mix and uncooked pasta. Mix thoroughly. 3. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. 4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally or until pasta is tender. 5. Uncover, remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Sauce will thicken as it stands. Stir before serving. Microwave Directions: 1. Crumble 1 pound lean ground beef in a 2-quart microwaveable casserole. 2. Microwave uncovered on high for 3 - 5 minutes, breaking up beef after 3 minutes, until brown; drain. 3. Stir in 2-3/4 cups hot water, 1/2 cup of milk, sauce mix and uncooked pasta. Mix thoroughly. 4. Microwave uncovered on high for 10 -15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Casserole will be hot. Let stand uncovered for 5 minutes until sauce thickens. Stir before serving.
