Sugar, Salt, Spices, White Distilled Vinegar (Maltodextrin and White Distilled Vinegar), Honey, Paprika, Cornstarch, Yeast Extract (Yeast Extract, Partially Hydrogenated Sunflower Oil), Garlic, Onion, Silicon Dioxide (To Prevent Caking), Oleoresin Paprika (Oleoresin Paprika, Cottonseed and Sunflower Oil, Polysorbate), Xanthan Gum.
Directions
Oven baking bag & seasoning mix:
Time:
Prep time: 10 minutes.
Cooking time: 50 minutes.
Stand time: 5 minutes.
You will need:
1 pkg. Sauer's spicy buffalo wings seasoning mix.
2-1/2 lbs. chicken wings or chicken wing drumettes.
Important: allow 8 inches for bag to expand while cooking. Baking bag should not touch oven walls or racks.
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cut chicken wings at joints and discard tips or use 2-1/2 lbs. chicken wing drumettes and place in bag.
2. Sprinkle seasoning mix over chicken. Shake bag to coat evenly. Place bag with wings in 13x9x2 inch baking pan arranging wings in a single layer. Close bag loosely with nylon tie and cut four small holes in top of bag to allow steam to escape.
3. Bake in oven for 40-50 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Makes 6 servings.
Variations:
For crispy chicken wings, prepare as listed above. When finished cooking, take wings out of bag, place on a broiler pan and broil four inches from heat for 6-8 minutes, turning once.
For a lower fat version, substitute 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Decrease baking time to 20-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 170 degrees F.
