Rolled Oats, Sugar, Enriched Bleached Flour (wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid, Malted Barley Flour, Enzymes), Brown Sugar, Corn Syrup Solids. Less Than 2% Of: Soybean Oil, Molasses Powder, Baking Soda, Spices, Salt, Natural Flavor, Color (annatto, Turmeric).
Directions
You will Need: 1 egg; 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine (Real butter works best. If using margarine, use one that contains more than 65% oil), softened (room temperature). 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. If necessary, soften cold butter in microwave on high power for 10-15 seconds. For best results, do not melt butter. 2. Stir together egg, butter and cookie mix until dough forms, hand kneading if necessary. Scoop dough according to desired cookie size and place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. For cookie bars, press dough into lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. 3. Bake as directed below or until light golden brown around edges. Cool 5 minutes and remove from pan. For cookie bars, cool thoroughly before cutting. Store cooled cookies in airtight container. Yield 18, 2-1/2 Inch Cookies: dough quantity - 1 rounded tablespoon; 10-12 minutes bake time. Yield 12, 3-inch Cookies: dough quantity - 2 rounded tablespoons; 12-14 minutes bake time. Yield Cookie Bars: 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan; 15-17 minutes bake time. High altitude (over 5,000 feet): Prepare as directed, adding 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour. Tip: For an easy glaze, combine powdered sugar and milk; drizzle over cookies.
