Directions
Microwave: in a round 3-quart microwaveable glass casserole dish, combine rice-pasta mix and 3 tablespoons of margarine, butter or spread with no trans fat. Microwave uncovered at high for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave at high 2 to 3 more minute(s) or until pasta is golden brown. Remove dish from microwave and allow to cool for 1 minute. Caution; dish will be hot. Slowly stir in 3 2/3 cups water and special seasonings. Cover and microwave, at high 20 t0 23 minutes or until rice is tender. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Range top: in a large skillet, combine rice-pasta mix and 3 tablespoons of margarine, butter or spread with no trans fat. Saute over medium heat until pasta is golden brown, stirring frequently. Slowly stir in 3 cups water and special seasonings; bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 17 to 22 minutes or until rice is tender.
