Lovingly made from Amanda Smith's original recipes created in the early 1900's, only Mrs. Smith's® recipes have her signature blue ribbon award-winning flaky crust, abundant seasonal fruit and signature spices. Today, our bakers spend hours delicately preparing each cobbler, and personally sample a handful each day, to ensure that each and every bite tastes as good as the original. So when you serve up a slice of Mrs. Smith's® blue ribbon cobblers, you can be sure your guests will feel welcome, with every bite.
Ingredients
Filling (Corn Peaches, Corn Syrup, Water, Sugar, Contains 2% or less of the following: [Ascorbic Acid, Salt, Citric Acid, Malic Acid, Spices, Colored With {Annatto}, Salt, Dextrose, Corn Syrup Solids, Sodium Bicarbonate, Whey, Wheat Flour with Malted Barley Bleached], Crust [Wheat Flour, Vegetables Shortening {Palm Oil, Soybeans Oil, Mono and Diglycerides}, Contains 2% or less of the following: {Ascorbic Acid, Salt, Citric Acid, Malic Acid, Spices, Colored With, Salt, Dextrose, Corn Syrup Solids, Sodium Bicarbonate, Whey, Wheat Flour with Malted Barley Bleached}])
Directions
Bake before serving. Remove cobbler from freezer. Place oven rack in center position. Preheat oven to 400F. Remove frozen cobbler from box, and remove plastic overwrap from cobbler. Do not remove cobbler from original pan. Center frozen cobbler on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil, and place in preheated oven. Bake cobbler for 80 to 90 minutes until golden brown. Remove cobbler on cookie sheet from oven using oven mitts. Never handle by edge of pan. Serve warm in 30 minutes or cooled after 2 hours. For a shiny, crispier crust, beat one egg and apply with a pastry brush to top crust prior to baking. Please Note: Baking cobbler on cookie sheet helps crust to bake more evenly.
Keep frozen until ready to bake. Store leftover baked pie loosely covered in a refrigerator for up to 3 days.
For food safety and quality cook before eating to an internal temperature of 160F.
