Directions
1. Preheat oil to 350degF.2. In a bowl, thoroughly mix entire pouch with 1/2 cup of water.Note: Water measurements are approximate. Increase or decrease amount of water as necessary. Let stand 7–10 minutes.3. Using a teaspoon, drop batter into oil and fry 3 minutes or until golden brown.4. Remove from fryer and drain on paper towels.5. While still hot, drizzle on icing packer.Tip: Once it has rested, gently mix the batter before dropping into oil. This will help create a perfect hushpuppy ball. • 1 box Hushpuppy Mix • 1 egg• 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon milk or water • 1 tablespoon oil• 2 tablespoons sugar1. Preheat oven to 350degF. 2. Stir together all ingredients in a medium size bowl until well blended.3. Fill lined or greased mini muffin tin two-thirds full with batter.4. Cook for 8–10 minutes.5. Let cool, then drizzle with icing if desired.
