Super soft foam
information required by epa: the level of noise entering a person's ear, when hearing protector is worn as directed, is closely approximated by the difference between the a-weighted environmental noise level and the nrr.
caution: for noise environments dominated by frequencies below 500 hz the c-weighted environmental noise level should be used. Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Consult the enclosed instructions for proper fit. Although hearing protectors can be recommended for protection against the harmful effects of impulsive noise, the noise reduction rating (nrr) is based on the attenuation of continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator of the protection attainable against impulsive noise such as gunfire.
example: 1. The environmental noise level as measured at the ear is 92 dba. 2. The nrr is 29 decibels (db). 3. The level of noise entering the ear is approximately equal to [92 db(a) - 29] 63 db(a).
caution: do not cut ear plugs. Inspect product before use and replace plugs if they are damaged or show signs of wear. Not for prolonged use. Product intended for single user only.
quality guaranteed - this topcare product is laboratory tested to guarantee its highest quality. Your total satisfaction is guaranteed.
the range of noise reduction ratings for existing hearing protectors is approximately 0 to 30 (higher numbers denote greater effectiveness)

special length for sleeping on your side
noise reduction rating - 29 decibels (when used as directed)
sound attenuation data (ansi standard s3. 19-1974) nrr 29 - test frequencies (hz) - 125, mean attenuation (db) - 36.3, standard deviation (db) - 4.9. Test frequencies (hz) - 250, mean attenuation (db) - 33.8, standard deviation (db) - 4.9. Test frequencies (hz) - 500, mean attenuation (db) - 38.3, standard deviation (db) - 5.6. Test frequencies (hz) - 1000, mean attenuation (db) - 37.5, standard deviation (db) - 4.7. Test frequencies (hz) - 2000, mean attenuation (db) - 39.0, standard deviation (db) - 3.3. Test frequencies (hz) - 3150, mean attenuation (db) - 45.3, standard deviation (db) - 4.6. Test frequencies (hz) - 4000, mean attenuation (db) - 46.7, standard deviation (db) - 3.7. Test frequencies (hz) - 6300, mean attenuation (db) - 50.4, standard deviation (db) - 3.5. Test frequencies (hz) - 8000, mean attenuation (db) - 49.1, standard deviation (db) - 3.6. The attenuation values were obtained under laboratory conditions and are for comparison purposes only. The amount of protection afforded may differ depending on how the protectors are fitted and worn. The attenuation values in actual use may be lower.
great for: sleeping, lawn mowing, studying, power tools, travel, concerts, blowdrying, sporting events
directions for use: 1. With clean hands, slowly roll plug into a thin, crease-free cylinder. 2. While compressed, insert plug into ear canal. Fitting is easier if outer ear is pulled outwards and upwards during insertion. 3. With fingertips, hold plug in place until it begins to expand and block noise. The degree of noise reduction depends upon proper insertion.
warning: keep earplugs away from infants and small children as they may get caught in the windpipe and create a choking hazard. If you should experience pain or discomfort when using this product, please discontinue use. Product intended for single user only.
