Place on paper towel to drain and cool. Hushpuppies cook best in about three inches of oil. For best result allow hushpuppies to thaw and reduce cooking time to 1 to 1-1/2 minutes. Cook hushpupies to golden brown but do not over cook. Conventional Oven: Place desired number of hushpuppies on a cookie sheet. Place in preheated 400-degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes turning once. Allow to cool 30 seconds before eating. Keep frozen.
