Directions
Keep frozen. Thaw under refrigeration immediately before use. Basic Preparation: Bake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove thawed salmon from packaging and season to taste. Place on a sheet of aluminum foil in an oven-safe baking dish. Bake salmon portions for 15-20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high. Remove thawed salmon portions from packaging, season to taste and rub with cooking oil. Place salmon portions on grill and cook for approximately 5-7 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. Microwave: Remove thawed salmon from packaging and season to taste. Place in a microwave-safe dish that has been lightly coated with oil or cooking spray. Cover with plastic wrap and peel back corner to allow steam to escape. Microwave at high power for 4-5 minutes, turning once. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. Remove from microwave and let sit for 3-4 minutes before serving. Thawing: Allow salmon portions to thaw thoroughly in refrigerator for 8-10 hours. Safe Handling: Keep raw fish separated from other food. Wash hands, work area, cutting surface and utensils before and after handling. Storage: Salmon portions must be kept frozen until ready to use. Once thawed, salmon should be consumed within two days. Salmon should not be refrozen.
