Whink® Appliance Descaler.
Dissolves lime scale buildup and mineral deposits from household appliances.
Coffee makers, steam irons, showerheads, vaporizers and more.
10 fl oz (296 ml).
Directions
Wear household rubber gloves.
Follow appliance manufacturer's instructions.
Coffee makers: not for use in percolators. Pour 1 tbsp of cleaner per each cup capacity into reservoir. For single-cup brewers, use 1 tbsp per 5 oz capacity. Fill reservoir with cold water. Brew entire solution through machine. Rinse by refilling reservoir with clean cold water and brewing through machine. Repeat rinse 3 times. Dispose of used solution in sink. Steam irons: do not plug in or heat iron while cleaning. Not for use with Teflon soleplates. In an 8 oz measuring cup, pour 3 oz of cleaner and add boiling water to make 1 cup. Pour solution into cold iron. Set control button, if any, for steam. Let solution drain through steam holes into sink or plastic dishpan. Press spray button repeatedly. Shake iron periodically to loosen deposits. Pour solution out after 15 minutes. Rinse iron 3 times with clean warm water. Vaporizers and showerheads: turn off vaporizer while cleaning. In a 16 oz measuring cup, pour 3 oz of cleaner and add warm water to make 2 cups. Pour solution into vaporizer. Drain after 15 minutes and rinse 3 times with clean warm water. For showerheads, soak spray holes in solution for 3 hours. Stir periodically. Rinse showerhead surface and flush inside with clean warm water before use.
