On the Hob: Makes 2 x 40 g servings of Flahavan's Real Fruit Porridge. Stir one cupful of Flahavan's real Fruit Porridge into 2-1/2 cupfuls of cold water/milk. Bring to the boil and cook for 3 minutes stirring continuously. You will notice the fruits expand as they absorb water as part of the cooking process. Allow to cool a little in the bowl, before serving. Cooking time will be reduced if you allow the oats and fruit to soak overnight. How to Cook in the Microwave: Makes 1 x 40 g serving of Flahavan's Real Fruit Porridge. Stir 1/2 cup of Flahavan's Real Fruit Porridge into one cup of cold water/milk, in a deep bowl, allowing over an inch at the top of the bowl for the oats to cook. Do not cover. Microwave on high for 2-1/2 to 3 minutes. Cooking times vary according to microwave wattage. Leave to stand for 1minute, stir and serve. As with any hot product, please be careful. Quick Tips: Try soaking the oats in milk or water in the fridge overnight for an extra plump fruity creamy porridge.
