Remove air cleaner. Cover carburetor throat, distributor, and coil with plastic or foil. Unless below 40 degrees F, no prewarming of engine is required. Engine must be off and cool. Note: Before applying, make sure all vacuum lines and PCV valve openings are sealed to prevent moisture from entering when rinsing. 2. Spray engine generously. Spray greasiest areas first. On heavily encrusted areas, some brushing may be desired. Avoid overspraying onto external car finish. 3. Allow to soak into grease and grime for 10-15 minutes. 4. Hose off thoroughly with strong stream of water. When rinsing is complete, remove all covers from carburetor, distributor and coil and any other passages previously sealed off. Replace air cleaner.
