Handling Instructions: Fully Baked: For extended life keep this bread in this plastic bag as this will help retain the moisture. Unsliced bread is best served slightly warmed in an oven or left out of the plastic bag for one hour to restore the crust. Never warm bread in a microwave! This will destroy the quality of the bread. Store bread in cool, dark environment such as a bread-box. Par Baked: Direct from freezer - remove frozen bread from bag and bake in the center of a preheated 450 degree oven for 10 minutes or until you have achieved a deep golden crust. Remove bread from oven and let stand 3 to 5 minutes before serving. Already Defrosted - to defrost bread before baking leave bread in plastic bag to thaw. To bake thawed loaf remove thawed bread from bag and bake in the center of a preheated 450 degree oven for 10 minutes or until you have achieved a deep golden crust. Remove bread from oven and let stand for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
Serving Instructions: Scaletta bread is at its best served warm and broken apart into chunks at the table. If you prefer slicing, it is best cut into thick slices. Store remaining bread in plastic bag after it is completely cool.
