Directions
The Dishwasher Branch Tailpiece is for either a direct connection to sink strainer or slip joint into a sink strainer tailpiece. Installation Hints: If a longer length is required, purchase a slip joint extension tube 1-1/2 inch x 6 inch (Ace(hashtag)4224036). Tools Needed: screwdriver; pipe or spud wrench (to remove old brass tailpiece); hacksaw. 1-1/2 inch x 8 inch Dishwasher Branch Tailpiece Direct Connection Instructions: 1. Turn off water at the tap. 2. Invert nut A and drop short tailpiece insert into it. 3. Slide nut C and poly washer onto insert. 4. Join insert assembly to branch tailpiece. 5. Place new branch tailpiece up to the strainer. Measure distance required and cut to length if necessary. 6. Loosen nut D and nut B on J Bend. Drop. J Bend and discard existing tailpiece. 7. Put rubber hose over spout on branch tailpiece. Attach clamp and tighten. 8. Put rubber washer E into top slip nut. 9. Attach branch tailpiece to strainer loosely. 10. Put nut D and washer from J Bend on branch tailpiece. 11. Position J Bend and hand tighten nuts D and B. 12. Direct spout of branch tailpiece in the direction of dishwasher for easy drainage. 13. Hand tighten all nuts securely. Run water to test for leaks. Note: These parts are designed for a hand-tight installation. Pipe thread compounds is not required. Slip Join Connection Instruction: Note: Discard one nut and short tailpiece insert. 1. Turn of water at the tap. 2. Place new branch tailpiece up to the strainer. Measure distance required and cut to length if necessary. 3. Loosen nut D and nut B on J Bend and discard existing tailpiece. 4. Put rubber hose over spout on branch tailpiece. Attach clamp and tighten. 5. Remove nut C and poly washer from branch tailpiece. 6. Place nut C and poly washer on extension attached to sink strainer. 8. Put nut D and washer from J Bend on branch tailpiece. 9. Position J Bend and hand tighten nuts D and b. 10 Direct spout of branch tailpiece in the direction of dishwasher for easy drainage. 11. Hand tighten all nuts securely. Run water to test for leaks.

- Pick up orders have no service fees, regardless of non-Instacart+ or Instacart+ membership.

- Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.
- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
