Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.
Preparation: Separate slices, then cook to desired crispness. Skillet: Brown 10 to 12 minutes over medium heat, turning frequently. Microwave: Use microwave-safe plate. Cover slices with paper towel. Cook on high 2 to 3 minutes for 2 slices. 4 to 5 minutes for 4 slices. Broiler: Place in broiler-safe pan 4 Inches below heat for 3 to 4 minutes each side, checking frequently.
