Stovetop: For best results, do not overcook rice. It is intended to be creamy. Step 1: Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet, and 1-3/4 cups of water into a medium saucepan. Stir well. Step 2: Bring contents to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer covered for 10-12 minutes. Step 3: Remove from heat and keep covered. Set aside 5 minutes or until sauce thickens.
