The original since 1958. Sport - 160 g. Experience the spirit of freedom. From the Wham-O fun factory! Experience the spirit of freedom! Frisbee Freestyle is a combination of acrobatics and aerodynamics to perform creative, artistic and athletic moves, striking the perfect balance of interaction between human, disc and terrain. Freestyle is a game whereby a player or a team of two or three players perform a routine, which consists of a series of throws, catches and moves, using one or more discs. Freestyle can simply be about what happens in a park between novices-catching a disc under the leg, or tipping a high throw and them catching it. But, it is also a competitive sport where the routine is evaluated by judges on the basis of difficulty, execution and presentation. Less Plastic: This package reflects our commitment to using less plastic.
Directions
Throwing a Frisbee Disc: Curve it: For a curved throw, tilt the disc in direction of the desired curve. Throw in a relaxed and easy manner, use wrist snap to propel disc forward with spin. Grip it: Hold as indicated with the thumb on top and the index finger just under the rim. The middle finger should be extended toward the center with the fourth and little finger curled back against the rim. Grip lightly. Backhand it: Place your thumb on top. Stand sideways toward your target. Reach back across the front of your body, then swing your arm forward, releasing the disc toward your target. Tilt the outside edge of the disc down for backswing and release. Forehand it: Fold the disc with two fingers on the underside, thumb on top and wrist cocked backward. Swing arm down-ward at about a 30 degree angle to body. Keep leading edge of the disc tilted down. Use wrist snap to propel the disc forward. Overhand it: Grip the disc with thumb underneath disc and fingers on top, with wrist cocked backward. Throw keeping arm straight and near shoulder level. Snap wrist forward at point of release to make disc spin.
Warnings
Caution: When using your frisbee disc be careful not to aim the disc at any person's eyes, face or at animals. Adult supervision is required.
