Thaw: Thawing Instructions: (Optional): Slit pouch to break vacuum seal and thaw overnight in the refrigerator (keep it cold-always 38 degrees F or less). To thaw quickly place the still wrapped salmon in cool running water for 30 minutes. Use immediately after thawing. Salmon skin has been left on for integrity while cooking once cooked, the skin may simply be removed with a fork or spatula before serving. Bake: Cooking Instructions: Bake: (Recommended!) From Frozen: Preheat oven to 350 F remove portion from pouch and place on an oiled baking dish skin side down. Bake on center rack of oven for 25-30 minutes. From Thawed: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Remove portion from pouch and place on an oiled baking dish skin side down. Bake on center rack of oven for 15-18 minutes. Grill: Grill: From Thawed: Preheat grill to medium-high. Use a non-stick spray or oil on the grilling surface. Remove portion from pouch and place on grill skin side down, cook for 5 minutes. Carefully flip fillet and continue cooking skin side up for 5 minutes. Saute: Pan Saute: From Thawed: Place one tablespoon vegetable, canola or olive oil in a nonstick skillet. Preheat to medium-high. Remove portion from pouch and carefully place fillet side up in pan. Saute for 5 minutes. Carefully flip fillet over and continue cooking skin side down for 5 minutes. Microwave: Microwave: (Only if you have to!) remove portion from pouch and place on a microwave safe dish. Cover with plastic wrap but slightly open at one end to allow venting. From Thawed: Cook on high for 2-3 minutes. Allow to cool for 2 minutes before serving. Test Kitchen Tip: For fish that is even more moist and juicy, our chefs use the foil pouch method (bake and grill only). Start with a foil sheet about 12 inches x 12 inches. Roll all of the sides of the foil upward to create an open pocket just the right size for the fish. Open the individual fish portion and place the fish with as much sauce as you would like in your custom foil pouch. Now, follow the cooking instructions above. To ensure food safety and best quality, please follow these preparation instructions. Always cook product to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F for 15 seconds as read by thermometer. Cooked fish is generally opaque and flakes with a fork when thoroughly cooked. Caution: Product will be hot. Cooking times vary as appliances vary. Our salmon has been deboned for your convenience though there is potential to find small bones.
Serving Suggestions: Go Classic: Serve simply with rice or mashed potatoes and fresh veggies. Asian Inspiration: Serve over Asian noodles and garnish with sliced green onion, sesame seeds and orange zest. New Orleans Bourbon Street Style: For even more indulgence, top our bourbon salmon with spicy seasoned shrimp and your favorite sides to create a Louisiana seafood duo.
Keep frozen.
