Wild-Caught Mahi-Mahi, Canola Oil, Water, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Dehydrated Garlic, Dehydrated Onion, Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Paprika, Dehydrated Red Pepper, Modified Food Starch (Derived from Corn), Natural Flavor (Contains Natural Smoke Flavor), Parsley, Xanthan Gum, Natural Smoke Flavor and Spice Extract.
Directions
To ensure food safety and best quality, please follow these preparation instructions. Always cook product to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, as read by thermometer. Cooked fish is generally opaque and will flake easily with a fork when thoroughly cooked. Thawing instructions: (Optional): Slit pouch to break vacuum seal and thaw overnight in the refrigerator (keep it cold: 38 degrees F or less). To thaw quickly, place the still wrapped mahi in cool running water for 30 minutes. Use immediately after thawing. Hot Tip: To seal in moisture, our chefs recommend using our signature Foil Pouch Method” (bake and grill only). Using about 12 inches x 12 inches of aluminum foil, curl in each side to make a small tray (pouch) just large enough for your fillet portion. Add as much marinade as you like, before continuing as directed below. Bake: (Recommended) Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. remove portion from pouch, place on baking sheet. From thawed: Bake on center oven rack for 15-18 minutes. From frozen: Bake on center oven rack for 25-30 minutes. Grill: From thawed: Preheat grill to medium-high. Remove portion from pouch. Place on grill for 5 minutes. Turn mahi over, and continue to grill for an additional 5-10 minutes. Microwave: (Only if you have to!) Remove portion from pouch and place on a dish that is microwave safe. Cover with plastic wrap, but slightly open at one end to allow venting. From thawed: Cooked on high for 2-3 minutes. Allow mahi to cool for 2 minutes before serving. From frozen: Cook on high for 3-4 minutes. Allow mahi to cool for 2 minutes before serving. Caution: Product will be hot. Cooking times are approximate, and vary as appliances vary. Though great care has been taken to remove them, small bones may be present.
Serving Suggestions: Go classic: Serve with fresh veggies or on a bed of lightly dressed greens. Fish Sandwich: Serve on toasted brioche bun with field greens, onion, tomato, and a touch of tartar sauce. Fish Tacos: Flake prepared mahi into small pieces and serve in warm tortillas topped with shredded cabbage, and your favorite crema. Garnish with cilantro and lime wedges.
