His wines were intentionally crafted to build a stronger connection between his passion for winemaking and his joy of sharing his art. Handcrafted with the utmost attention to flavor and balance, James sources grapes from lower yielding vineyards to create wines with more concentrated flavors. He believes in fewer winemaking ‘touches’ in the cellar, allowing the true essence of the vines to shine through, resulting in a higher quality wine that he is proud to put his name on.

Our Merlot is crafted with grapes from California’s esteemed Monterey County, where the cool climate and long growing season makes for the perfect harvest. The morning fog paired with warm, sunny afternoons allow the grapes to fully ripen while maintaining the natural juice and flavors. This wine is as smooth as it is sophisticated. With a rich tannic color and flavors of dark fruit, delicate vanilla and spice, this wine delivers a full-bodied, velvety mouthfeel with a long, lingering finish.
