Instructions For Use:
1. Attach the adjustable clip to the side of the pot and position the thermometer so that 2 1/2 inches of the glass tube are immersed in liquid.
2. To prevent tube breakage, never heat liquid beyond the capacity of the thermometer or permit the thermometer to touch the bottom of the pot. An additional food temperature scale is printed on the back of the thermometer for your convenience.

Jelly - 220 degrees F 104 degrees C - droplets.
Syrup - 230 degrees F 110 degrees C - thread.
Fudge, Creams, Penuche - 240 degrees F 116 degrees C - soft ball.
Caramels, Divinity - 250 degrees F 121 degrees C - firm ball.
Taffy, Marshmallows - 260 degrees F 127 degrees C - hard ball.
Butterscotch, Popcorn Balls - 280 degrees F 138 degrees C - soft crack.

Cleaning and Care:
Always allow the thermometer to cool to room temperature before cleaning and storing it.
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Grease or other hard-to-remove soil can be removed with a scouring pad.

This thermometer is not meant for use in an oven or a microwave. Exercise caution when removing the hot thermometer from the side of the pot. Use only heat-resistant oven mitts or pot holders when touching a hot thermometer. Do not lay the thermometer on a cold or wet surface.

- Tipping is optional but encouraged for delivery orders. It's a great way to show your shopper appreciation and recognition for excellent service. 100% of your tip goes directly to the shopper who delivers your order.
With an optional Instacart+ membership, you can get $0 delivery fee on every order over $35 and lower service fees too.
Instacart pickup cost:
- There may be a "pickup fee" (equivalent to a delivery fee for pickup orders) on your pick up order that is typically $1.99 for non-Instacart+ members. Instacart+ membership waives this like it would a delivery fee.
- Pick up orders have no service fees, regardless of non-Instacart+ or Instacart+ membership.

You can set item and delivery instructions in advance, as well as chat directly with your shopper while they shop and deliver your items. You can tell the shopper to:
- Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.
- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
