household cleaner: hy-vee baking soda does all the jobs you do with scouring powder, but without suds or scratches. Sprinkle hy-vee baking soda on a damp sponge or cloth to clean countertops, appliances, metal cabinets and tile. Cleans combs and brushes. Soak for 5 minutes in a bowl of warm water with 4 tablespoons of hy-vee baking soda. Removes oily residues but leaves no soapy film.
