4 bottles of chilled, dry red wine (such as Ménage à Trois Zinfandel, Luscious Pinot Noir or Lavish Merlot)
1 2-liter bottle of lemon-lime soda or soda water, if you prefer a less-sweet version
6 washed oranges, sliced crosswise in 1/8″ slices
4 washed limes, cut crosswise in 1/8″ slices
2 washed lemons, cut crosswise in 1/8″ slices
Prepare cocktail recipe just before serving. Combine wine and fruit in serving container and give the wine a stir with a wooden spoon. Slowly add the soda or soda water and stir the Sangria again. Serves 30 – 35 depending on glass size.
