1. Draw a design on white paper, pressing hard with the fabric crayons. Gently brush away crayon specks. Remember that the design will be transferred in reverse. 2. Make an ironing pad by placing white paper over an iron-safe surface. Place fabric on the ironing pad. To make sure that the design is permanent, use 100% synthetic fabric. (The higher the polyester content in the fabric, the better the color will transfer.) 3. Lay your design face-down on the fabric. 4. Place a sheet of white paper on top of your design. Place white paper between layers of fabric to avoid transfer of color. 5. Ironing should be done by an adult in a well-ventilated area. Set iron to the synthetic setting (No steam). Repeatedly press the iron straight down on the paper, lifting the iron up to move it. Continue for 1-2 minutes. Caution: Do not allow the paper to move or the design may smear. 6. Carefully peel the paper off of your fabric. Decorated fabrics can be machine washed, using warm or cold water and a gentle cycle. Allow to air dry. Do not place in dryer. For more intense colors, try drawing directly on the fabric with the crayons. Then follow steps 4-6. Overheating or scorching may release irritating fumes. Please retain package for future reference.
