When a close family member was suddenly diagnosed with gluten-intolerance, we watched them taste-test every gluten-free cookie they could find, and their taste buds were underwhelmed. It seemed that the more gluten-substitutes involved, the more blah the cookie. That's when it hit us. Our most beloved family monster cookie recipe, passed down through generations and adored by all, was naturally gluten-free! Meli's has No gluten substitutes and is scrumdidlyumbous! We can't wait to share our deliciously awesome, gluten-free accident with you and those you love! Gluten-free Rolled Oats, Brown Sugar, Sugar, Chocolate Chips (sugar, Unsweetened Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, Soy Lecithin, Natural Vanilla Extract), M&m Milk Chocolate (milk Chocolate [sugar, Chocolate, Skim Milk, Cocoa Butter, Lactose, Milkfat, Soy Lecithin, Salt, Artificial Flavor], Sugar, Cornstarch, Less Than 1%: Corn Syrup, Dextrin, Coloring [includes, Blue 1 Lake, Yellow 6, Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 1, Red 40 Lake, Blue 2 Lake, Yellow 6 Lake, Blue 2], Gum Acacia), Baking Soda, Natural Vanilla Powder (dextrose, Vanilla), Salt.
Directions
Original Monster: 4 simple steps. 7-9 minutes. 16 cookies. You will need: Nut butter 1/2 cup. 1 egg. Salted butter 4 tbsp (softened). nstructions: 1. Fire up the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease or paper line a baking sheet. 2. Mix the egg, butter, and nut butter. Next, add Meli's cookie mix and stir into a dough. Baking tip: You can always add a little extra nut butter if needed to make the dough more gooey! 3. Roll up 2 inch cookie mounds, and arrange them about 1-2 inch apart on the sheet. This will make about 16 cookies. (Although the dough is scrumptious, we cannot recommend eating raw dough!) 4.. Bake for 7-9 minutes, or until the edges set. Boom! You just made delicious Meli's cookies. Try to let 'em cool before you dive in! Store in freezer for maximum freshness!
