Directions for Laundry Use: Pretreat Stains and Heavy Soils: Stubborn stains may be soaked for 5 minutes in a solution of 1/3 cup of bleach to 1 gallon of cool sudsy water. Sort Laundry by Color and Fabric: Separate whites from colors, light colors from dark ones. Avoid bleaching wool, silk, mohair, leather, spandex, and non-fast colors. Add Bleach and Detergent: This bleach may be added to the wash water before laundry is put in, or for best results, dilute with a quart of water and add to wash water 5 to 6 minutes after the wash cycle has began. Use the recommended amount of this bleach as shown. For very large loads, add slightly more bleach. Directions for Household Use: Toilet Bowls: Flush toilets Pour 1 cup of this bleach into bowl. Brush. Let stand 10 minutes. Flush. Bathtubs and Showers: Flush drains. Clean with a solution of 1-1/2 cups of bleach per gallon of warm sudsy water. Let stand 5 minutes. Rinse. Kitchen Sinks: Cover stains with 2/3 gallon of water, add 3/4 cup of bleach. Let stand 5 minutes. Rinse. Avoid prolonged contact with stainless steel. Rinse thoroughly after use. Floors, Vinyl, Tile, Woodwork & Appliances: Clean with a solution of 1 cup of bleach per gallon of sudsy water. Let stand 5 minutes. Rinse. Regular top loading automatic - 1-1/2 cups. Large top loading automatic - 2 cups. Front loading automatic - 3/4 cup. Hand laundry (2 gallons sudsy water) - 1/3 cup. To check if a garment is bleach-safe, try this Bleach-Safe Test: apply one drop of a test solution (1 tablespoon bleach plus 1/4 cup water) to a hidden part of the fabric. Check all colors including trim. Let stand 1 minute then blot dry. No color change means the article can be safely bleached. In case of accidental spill, immediately absorb bleach with clean rag and rinse area thoroughly with water.

Storage & Disposal: Store bleach tightly capped and upright in a cool, dry place. Do not reuse empty container. Rinse with water and cap before disposal.
