Re-Calibrating the Thermometer: If the thermometer appears to be inaccurate, re-calibrate using the method below: 1. Immerse thermometer stem in liquid of known temperature: ice bath (32 degrees F) or boiling water (212 degrees F). 2. Grip hex hub at top of item (below dial) with a wrench or pliers. Rotate thermometer head to match the dial pointer reading to the known liquid temperature. Do not immerse in water, wipe clean with a damp cloth. Stem may be cleaned with alcohol to disinfect. Use & Care 1. This thermometer is not designed to be left in the meat during the cooking process. 2. Insert thermometer approximately 2 inches into the center of the thickest part of meat, avoid touching bones, fat, or gristle. 3. Hold thermometer in meat for 15-20 seconds or until dial stops rising. 4. If desired temperature is not reached, return meat to oven for further cooking. Re-check until correct temperature is reached. Thermometer will melt if left in oven or grill.

With an optional Instacart+ membership, you can get $0 delivery fee on every order over $35 and lower service fees too.
Instacart pickup cost:
- There may be a "pickup fee" (equivalent to a delivery fee for pickup orders) on your pick up order that is typically $1.99 for non-Instacart+ members. Instacart+ membership waives this like it would a delivery fee.
- Pick up orders have no service fees, regardless of non-Instacart+ or Instacart+ membership.

You can set item and delivery instructions in advance, as well as chat directly with your shopper while they shop and deliver your items. You can tell the shopper to:
- Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.
- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
