Outdoor Gardens: New Plantings: During bed preparation,mix in 1-1/3 cups of All Purpose Fertilizer for every 10 square feet of growing area, or 1-1/2 cups for every 12 feet of planting row. Till the soil to a depth of 6 to 12 inches and water well. Established Plants: Use 1 cup for every 10 sq. feet of growing area, or or 3/4 cup for every 12 feet of row. Work in gently and water thoroughly. When to Apply: Every 2 months year-round. Potted Plants: New Plantings: When potting plants, mix 2 heaping tablespoons of All Purpose Fertilizer per gallon of potting soil, or add 1/2 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (approx. 5 gallons) of potting soil. Mix the soil and fertilizer thoroughly. Water well. Your new plants will love it! Established Plants: Sprinkle 2 tablespoons for every 6 inches of pot diameter, or 1/2 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (approx. 5 gallons) of soil. Work in gently and water thoroughly. When to Apply: Every other month year-round. Trees and Shrubs: New Plantings: Before you plant, add 2 cups of All Purpose Fertilizer to the soil that will be used to fill the tree or shrub hole. - There may be a "pickup fee" (equivalent to a delivery fee for pickup orders) on your pick up order that is typically $1.99 for non-Instacart+ members. Instacart+ membership waives this like it would a delivery fee.
- Pick up orders have no service fees, regardless of non-Instacart+ or Instacart+ membership.

You can set item and delivery instructions in advance, as well as chat directly with your shopper while they shop and deliver your items. You can tell the shopper to:
- Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.
- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
