Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.
Cooking Instructions: Thaw the turkey in its original sealed plastic bag in the refrigerator for 48 hours. Do not thaw at room temperature or in water. Remove outer plastic bag, but leave aluminum foil wrapper or inner cook-in-bag intact. Cook in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for approximately 2 hours. If wrapped in aluminum foil carefully peel back foil and continue to cook for approximately 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees F. if turkey is in cook-in-bag leave in bag for final hour. We do not recommend cooking from frozen state but if necessary: cook as above adding 2 hours cooking times.
Refreeze or keep refrigerated.
