Make it: 1 prep ingredients: shred 1/2 cup parmesan cheese. Slice 1/2 cup loosely packed fresh basil into thin strips. 2 stir it up: combine contents of soup kit with broth and water in large stock pot. 3 now we're cooking! bring to boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 15 min., stirring occasionally. 4 all together now: add tomatoes; stir. Return soup to boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 10 min. 5 the finishing touch: season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish each bowl with parmesan cheese and basil before serving.
