Directions
Directions for Use: Do not allow pet mice, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, or other pet rodents to come in contact with this product. Do not place bait in areas accessible to children. Keep box for complete directions for use. Indoor use: Prior to treatment, all likely food sources must be removed or made unavailable to rats and mice. Place bait trays at bait points where there are signs of rat or mouse activity, such as fresh droppings, inside or near rat runs and feeding areas. Place RatX bait trays approximately 6 feet apart through the infested area. Protect bait trays from non-target animals and from water. Inspect bait trays frequently and replace any eaten bait trays, or bait trays which become wet, and re-site in a dry location. Replace bait trays until there are no more takes for 48 hours. Outdoor use: Place bait trays where there are signs of rat or mouse activity, like fresh droppings or near burrows, runways, feeding places and at points of entry around the perimeter of buildings. Place RatX bait trays in drainpipes, open-ended boxes or under sheets of metal or wood, secured at an angle against a wall to keep the bait points dry, at intervals of approximately 6 feet, reducing to 4 feet in areas of high infestation. Protect bait trays from water as the baits must be kept dry. Protect bait trays from non-target animals. Inspect bait trays frequently and replace any eaten bait trays or bait trays that have become wet and re-site in a dry location. Replenish bait trays when empty until there are either no more takes or no rat or mouse activity for 48 hours. Post treatment: When handling, always use rubber gloves. Remove all remains of bait and bait trays after treatment and dispose of safely. Apply household disinfectants or bleach solutions at recommended concentrations and contact time to dead mice, mouse droppings, nests and surrounding area. Clean the area thoroughly with paper towels or a mop. Place dead mice and soiled paper towels in a plastic bag and seal tightly. Place sealed bag into a second plastic bag and seal tightly. Dispose of bags into a covered trash can that is routinely emptied. Dispose of gloves when finished and thoroughly wash hands with soap and water.
Storage: Store only in original container in a cool, dry place inaccessible to children and pets.
