pizza by the foot - ingredients: 2 mild italian sausage links (8 oz), 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup onion, coarsely chopped, 1 loaf (1 lb) french bread, unsliced, 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese fc, 1 jar (14 oz) pizza sauce fc, 1 package (8 oz) finely shredded pizza style three cheese blend fc, 1 tsp italian seasoning. Cooking directions: place sausage and water in shallow pan. Cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 10 to 12 minutes. Drain, cool slightly and cut into 1/4 inch slices. Slice bread in half lengthwise and lay cut side up on cookie sheet. In small bowl, stir together pizza sauce and seasoning. Spread evenly on each cut bread half. Sprinkle each half with onion, sausage, and cheeses. Bake in a conventional oven at 350°f for 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned. Makes 8 servings fc = food club brand
