a complete household clean
rugs & upholstery: vacuum first. Use 2 cups weis quality ammonia to 1 gallon warm water. Dampen sponge and work suds lightly into surface. Caution: try out on small, inconspicuous area to make sure color is not affected.
heavy duty cleaning: use weis quality ammonia stronger or at full strength as desired.
first aid: external - flood with water, then wash with vinegar. For eyes, flush thoroughly with water and get medical attention.
oven grease removal: removes grease from inside oven. Place saucer filled with undiluted ammonia solution in cool oven overnight. Close oven door. Remove grease with cloth dampened in solution of 1 cup ammonia to a pail of water. Wash oven surfaces. For hard, baked-on grease, repeat overnight procedure.
general laundry: add 1 cup ammonia to tub of hot water. Use 1/2 the usual amount of soap or detergent.
ovens & broilers: leave a dish of ammonia in oven overnight. Spillovers wipe out easily in morning.
