Keep The Bottle Away from Light: Any light will affect the beer in a negative way and leave a skunky taste. Closet or storage areas are ideal. Keep the Bottle Cool: Look for an area of your home that stays cool (not attic storage). Ideal temperature storage is between 50-55 degrees. Keep Consistent: Don't move the bottle around or store it in a location with temperature variations. Significant temperature swings will affect the beer. Keep Organized: Mark the bottles with the days you started cellaring them to keep track of how long they have been stored.
Warnings
