What’s the Magic Pop Story: In Korea where rice is abundant, people traditionally have made rice treats. Every time a rice treat popped out of the machine, the machine would make a bang and gather a crowd. This sweet treat was loved by everyone, both men and women, the young and the old. Although the machine made delicious treats, due to its weight and size, which was analogous to that of a cannon, rice treats were only made on special occasions or in designated areas. One day, the founders of Delice Global, Mr. and Mrs. Kim contemplated how to simplify the way to make such crispy and fresh rice treats so that people could enjoy them every day. Thus, Mr. and Mrs. Kim thought of various methods using their engineering knowledge and ideas. At the end of many discussions and trials, they invented a machine that created the same delicious rice treats, but was so small and convenient that it could be placed on top of a table. Magically, that small machine still created the same bang to make a fat free, low calorie, sugar free healthy treat. Kim’s magic pop is a union of a traditional Korean treat and modern technology.
