Directions
Proper CFL Usage: CFLs are best suited for fixtures that are left on for 15 or more minutes at a time. They last longest in dry fixtures that allow airflow, such as table lamps, wall sconces, pendants and covered outdoor locations. Only use specially labeled CFLs with dimmers and three-way fixtures or in areas that are exposed to weather, since standard CFLs are not meant for these applications. For recessed fixtures, covered glass reflector CFLs outperform uncovered twist CFLs by distributing light to task areas more evenly. Do not use in wet locations. Not recommended with motion detectors or photocontrols. Do not use with dimmers. Do not use in standard sockets. Incorrect use may reduce bulb life expectancy.
Warnings
Use only on 120 volt 60Hz circuits. Not for use where directly exposed to the weather. Starting temperature -20 degrees F. Optimum operating temperature -10 to 140 degrees F. This device is not intended for use with emergency exit fixtures or emergency exit lights. Do not use with dimmers, photocontrols or electronic timers. Never use more than 25 lamps per 20 amp branch circuit.
