Water, Apple Cider Vinegar, Corn Starch, Beef Extract, Spices, Less than 2% of: Chipotle Pepper, Onion, Leek, Carrot, Tomato Paste, Garlic, Vinegar, Rosemary Extract, Canola Oil, Dried Onion, Dried Garlic, Lime Juice Concentrate, Brown Sugar, Sugar, Salt, Soybean Oil, Natural Flavor, Paprika Oleoresin (Color).
Directions
Ingredients Needed: 1 pouch Nueva Cocina Caribbean Style Barbacoa Sauce (shake before opening); 2-3 lbs. beef chuck roast, seasoned with salt and pepper; 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar); 1 cinnamon stick (optional); cayenne pepper to taste (optional). Cooking Directions: Add: vinegar, sauce, cinnamon stick and cayenne pepper over the roast. Cook on high heat for 6 hours or on low heat for 8 hours. Pull meat apart using two forks and serve with rice (we recommend Nueva Cocina Black Beans & Rice). Total Time: 6 hr. 20 min (8 hr. 20 min. for low heat option). Serve 8-12. Quick Skillet Prep: Brown 1-1.25 lbs. thinly sliced beef until done (145 degrees F). Shake pouch, then add simmer sauce until warmed through and serve with Nueva Cocina Rice! Also good with chicken or pork.
