Tips for Effective Frying: 1. Use one of First Street's quality frying shortenings for your needs. 2. Maintain a turnover in each fryer of 2 or 3 days. 3. Keep your frying equipment spotlessly clean. 4. Filter your frying fat once a day and more if necessary. 5. Make sure your thermostats are set correctly and that they are accurate. 6. Turn down the heat to 200 degrees F during slack periods. 7. Keep excess moisture, food particles and salt out of the frying kettles. 8. Replace frying fat when it becomes poor in flavor. 9. 350 degrees F is recommended frying temperature for most foods. 10. For best results store our shortenings between 70 degrees-80 degrees F.

Store & use at room temperature.

- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
